Downtown Parking Tips
Parking in downtown Ashland is competitive, but if you follow this guide you'll never have to sweat it.
There is no metered parking on Ashland City streets
A new two-level parking garage between Pioneer Street and First Street next to the Shakespeare Festival charges a very low fee for all day parking
Most downtown parking is limited to 2 hours, but since the city stops checking most zones at 5:30pm you can safely park anywhere so long as it is after 3:30pm and the sign shows 5:30pm as the end time.
Unlike in larger cities, you can find untimed parking readily available if you leave the downtown core. Generally, you don't need to look much more than a block or two outside of the downtown area to be successful.
If you do forget to move, tickets for leaving your vehicle over the 2 hour limit are reasonably priced. The last time we checked, they were $15.00
